On 28/08/2025, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) issued an update regarding Anatel publishes public consultation process report of the 6GHz Band Notice. Alexandre Freire, the councilor at Anatel, made a public statement about the report related to process nº 53500.012864/2025-66, proposing Consulta Pública Edital of the 6GHz band. The proposal aims to increase radiofrequencies for the Personal Mobile Service in a model similar to the 5G Editel.
