Amendments to the Establishment Charter of the Committee of Market Operators and Investors (COMI) and appointment of new members

Summary:

On November 15, 2023, the Consob, with resolution no. 22889, modified the Charter of the Committee of Market Operators and Investors (COMI), previously adopted on June 12, 2018, and subsequently modified on July 19, 2023. The Consob has also appointed 5 new members to the COMI for the biennium 2023-2025, adding to the 30 new members appointed with resolution no. 22869 on November 2, 2023. The list of the 35 new COMI members is available on the Consob website. The COMI, established in 2018, aims to facilitate dialogue and exchange with interested parties, expressing the views of market operators and investors and supporting the Consob in defining its strategic directions and actions. The Committee is also responsible for analyzing market risks and identifying areas for improving market competitiveness. The new members will serve a two-year term until the expiration date specified in resolution no. 22869. Participation in the Committee is free of charge.
