AER publishes proposed transmission pricing methodology guidelines for interconnector costs following AEMC rule change

On March 20, 2025, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) published proposed transmission pricing methodology guidelines and information templates for stakeholder feedback. The amendments aim to facilitate interconnector cost allocation as specified in agreements between Ministers, and the AER will make its final decision by July 3, 2025. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the proposals by May 20, 2025, to inform the final decision.
