"On May 14, 2025, Eurometal President Alexander Julius announced that the implementation of SKDM may be delayed to May 2027 due to the lack of an electronic platform for AB's SKDM certificate trade. This delay will not alleviate financial pressure on companies, as they must purchase all relevant SKDM certificates by May 2027 for goods imported in 2026."
