ACMA blocks more illegal online gambling websites

On November 13, 2024, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) issued an update regarding ACMA blocks more illegal online gambling websites. The latest sites blocked include MyEmpire, Pokienations, RollXO, Betsquare, Freeslots hub, PayID-Gambler.com, and FreeBitco.in, in compliance with the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. Since November 2019, over 220 illegal services have exited the Australian market, while 1,086 websites were blocked for operating illegally, putting consumers at risk of financial loss.
