"On June 30, 2025, a joint meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Public Council of Rosstandart was held. The focus was on actualizing normative-technical documents, proposals for updating state standards and technical regulations were discussed." The meeting addressed issues related to restoring state control over compliance with mandatory requirements for all EAEU technical regulations, developing standards, conducting an experiment to restore state control over the quality of construction materials and products, and intellectual property-related issues. Minister of Construction of Russia Irek Faisullovich expressed gratitude to representatives of the Public Council and the leadership of MC "Artek" for implementing the project "Professional Orientation Interactive Platform - Me, Builder of the Future!" celebrating 100 years of Artek, where over 1200 children tried their hand at being builders and acquired initial skills in the profession. The key topic of discussion was the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", as well as areas of activity aimed at achieving technological sovereignty of Russia. "The Ministry of Construction of Russia is taking measures to ensure that the industry has materials, products, technology, including parallel imports from friendly countries, increasing and modernizing existing production capacities, localizing industries, and conducting research to develop new building materials," said Minister Irek Faisullovich. Emphasis was placed on a project for developing the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) "On the safety of construction materials and products", which is currently undergoing the stage of intergovernmental coordination in participating countries. The minister also noted close cooperation between the Ministry of Construction of Russia, Rosstandart, and Rostest in terms of standardization and technical regulation in the field of construction. The Ministry has been responsible for the activity of TC 465 "Construction" for ten years, during which more than 1500 national and interstate standards have been developed. Three separate technical committees were established: TK 144 "Building materials and products", TK 505 "Information modeling", TK 506 "Engineering surveys and geotechnology", and TK 507 "Urban planning". In cooperation with Rosstandart, questions are being resolved regarding the optimization and transparency of procedures for considering STO (state standards). On completing the meeting, a ceremony was held to award representatives from the industry.
