CGU publishes 2nd bulletin with summary of decisions under the Access to Information Law

The Controladoria-Geral da Uniu00e3o (CGU) has released the 2nd edition of the Boletim Informativo das Decisu00f5es da Secretaria Nacional de Acesso u00e0 Informau00e7u00e3o, featuring 8 cases from nearly 150 decisions made in October 2023. The edition highlights significant decisions, including one requiring the Comando do Exu00e9rcito (CEX) to provide information about the capture of explosives at a protest camp in Brasu00edlia, and another maintaining restrictions on access to data about people entering the Polu00edcia Federal headquarters in Brasu00edlia, due to ongoing investigations. The CGU also ruled in favor of providing information about a completed administrative disciplinary process and rejected requests for access to data on multas applied by the Polu00edcia Rodoviu00e1ria Federal and documents from the Ministu00e9rio da Justiu00e7a e Seguranu00e7a Pu00fablica.
