The Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) published a notice in the Industrial Property Review (RPI) nu00b0 2.762, dated December 12, 2023, regarding judicial opinions on the limits and scope of the full devolution effect established in Article 212 of the Industrial Property Law (9.279/1996). The opinions numbered 00016/2023 to 00019/2023, issued by the Federal Procurator's Office Specialized alongside the INPI, have been given normative effect due to a decision-making letter from the INPI's Presidency, requiring their full application within 60 days. Additionally, stakeholders may submit amendments to the interposed resources within the same 60-day period to make any necessary adjustments.
