CGU presents an overview of Brazilian regulatory quality in São Paulo

Summary:

Ronald Balbe, Secretary of the Federal Internal Control of the National Audit Office (CGU), participated in the XIII Regulation Congress, organized by the Association of Regulatory Agencies (ABAR), in Su00e3o Paulo. He presented the panorama of the Program for Improving Regulatory Quality in Brazil (QualiREG), jointly managed by CGU, the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The program aims to evaluate the institutional maturity of federal and subnational agencies, including providing consultancies for regulatory tool development. The next stage of the program will expand the evaluation to approximately 50 federal entities and organizations, and also assess the adoption of regulatory sandboxes by 11 federal agencies.
