Anvisa reinforces guidelines on imports of health treatment products

On April 9, 2025, the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) reinforced guidelines on imports of health treatment products. According to Anvisa, only patients themselves can import medicines and health products, purchasing and paying for them directly for their personal use. The agency has created a specific model for LPCO Importation by Natural Person - Anvisa for this process, following the correct petition code and product destination.
