On 03/09/2025, the Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) issued an update regarding Federal Revenue presents numbers from RTC-CBS pilot. A total of 118 companies are participating in the restricted production platform for the Contribution on Goods and Services (CBS), testing digital fiscal document emission and reception flows, as well as assisted calculation and tax refund processes. The initial results show approximately 12,000 documents issued, involving 5,044 buyers, with 1,316 documents presenting discrepancies due to errors, mostly intentional to identify solution behavior.
