MJSP regulates auctions of property seized in the practice of drug crimes

On "04/09/2025", the "Secretaria Nacional de Políticas sobre Drogas e Gestão de Ativos (Senad)" issued an update regarding increased autonomy for conducting auctions of seized property in favor of the Union. The decree, number 12.607/2025, ensures greater legal security, standardization, and transparency in auctions conducted by Senad. This change represents a significant advancement for the Ministry, as it expands normative and operational autonomy, ensuring standardized procedures, increased predictability, and strengthened policies on seized assets, making the process more efficient and transparent.
