On July 14, 2025, the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) initiated oversight visits in June 2025, conducting 629 visits and 14697 at Holy Sites during Hajj. Investigations led to arresting 130 citizens and residents, including employees from Saudi ministries and other authorities for crimes like bribery and abuse of authority. Proceedings are underway against detainees for prosecution.
