On 19/09/2023, the Senate confirmed the three nominations to the Collegiate Board (Dicol) of Anvisa. The nominees were approved in a vote by the Social Affairs Committee on August 13th. Leandro Pinheiro Safatle, Daniela Marreco Cerqueira, and Thiago Lopes Cardoso Campos are the newly appointed directors with expertise in economics, biology, and law respectively.
