On 26/08, the National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL) requested generation tests for UTE Termoceará to prove availability for eventual dispatch in 2025. This may benefit the operation of the Interconnected National System (SIN) this year. Studies by the Operator of the Electric System (ONS) indicated a need for thermoelectric dispatch in upcoming months, particularly during peak hours.
