New targeted support regime to enable more people to make the most of their money

On July 14, 2025, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published draft rules for a new targeted support regime. This regime will enable authorized firms to provide consumers with pension and investment suggestions tailored to their circumstances and characteristics. The FCA is conducting a review of the regulatory boundary between financial advice and guidance to improve access to affordable help with financial decision-making.
