On June 17, 2025, a landmark roadmap was established between national aviation authorities from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The "Roadmap for Advanced Air Mobility Aircraft Type Certification" aims to ensure safety, foster collaboration, promote technological innovation, and streamline certification and validation processes for new aircraft types across international boundaries. This collaborative effort is expected to pave the way for efficient introduction of electric vertical take-off (eVTOL) aircraft into multiple markets.
