"On "27/06/2025", the "State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR)" issued an update regarding "The State Administration for Market Regulation has launched a special random inspection on the use of food additives to strengthen the comprehensive management of the abuse of food additives". The inspection covered 31 provinces and involved 9 online sales platforms, testing 780 batches of food products. The results showed effective regulation of food additive abuse in some categories, but issues persisted in others."
