On 04 June 2025, the European Data Protection Board issued an update regarding Opinion 12/2025 on the draft decision of the Dutch Supervisory Authority regarding the Controller Binding Corporate Rules of the ASML Group. The EDPB adopted the opinion to ensure consistent application of the GDPR throughout the EEA and provided guidance on the requirements for approval of binding corporate rules (BCRs) under Article 47 GDPR.
