ED, Shimla has filed two Supplementary Prosecution Complaints (SPCs) in the Himachal Pradesh Scholarship Scam case under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Shimla on 28.03.2025. The Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Shimla has taken cognizance of both the SPCs on 01.05.2025

On "06/05/2025", the "Enforcement Directorate (ED)" issued an update regarding "ED, Shimla has filed two Supplementary Prosecution Complaints (SPCs) in the Himachal Pradesh Scholarship Scam case under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Shimla on 28.03.2025. The Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA), Shimla has taken cognizance of both the SPCs on 01.05.2025". Two SPCs were filed against Maa Saraswati Educational Trust and ITFT Consultancy Pvt Ltd, and their associates, for allegedly misusing scholarship funds. The investigation revealed that these institutes had fraudulently received scholarship funds by verifying details of students who were not enrolled or had left the institute without completing studies. Properties valued at Rs 30.5 Crore have been provisionally attached in this case.
