On July 07, 2025, the Subsecretaría de Ambiente de la Nación participated in inspections at sugarcane and alcohol industries in Tucumán province to prevent industrial pollution in the Salí-Dulce basin. The technical visits aimed to verify compliance with environmental commitments made by regional companies under a convention between Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, and the Nation, guaranteed by the Supreme Court of Justice since 2011.
