On January 7, 2025, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued an update regarding Listed Medicine Compliance Reports. This update included the results of compliance reviews covering 51 listed medicines. The review findings highlighted non-compliance issues in medicines containing valerian and lysine hydrochloride, as well as those making claims about diarrhoea relief, exercise performance, and maternal postnatal health. Non-permitted health claims were also identified in sunscreens and medications for depression and anxiety.
