Brief

On 05/05/2025, the Federal Service for Intellectual Property issued an update regarding Patent activity of Russian software developers has grown by more than 5% since the beginning of the year. According to the report, Russian developers submitted over 8,000 applications for registering programs and databases in the first quarter of 2025, a 5.4% increase from the same period last year. The majority of these submissions were for software development, with only a smaller portion being for database protection.
