Anvisa approves measures to facilitate access to chemotherapy

On July 28, 2025, the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) approved a measure to expedite the importation of medications based on the active principle mitotano. This change allows healthcare services to follow the usual importation process, eliminating the need for prior approval from Anvisa's Directorate for each new import request.
