"On "21/05/2025", the "Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)" issued an update regarding "Extension of the period of concurrent running of IS 17550 (Part 1): 2021 and IS 17550 (Part 1): 2024- “Household Refrigerating Appliances- Characteristics and Test methods- Part 1- General Requirements”". The circular extends the last date for implementation of the revised standard IS 17550 (Part 1): 2024 to 12 May 2026, allowing concurrent running with the previous version until then.
