On 22/07/2025, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued an update regarding "EASA finalises means of compliance for SAIL III unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)". The agency supported by the UAS Technical Body has completed the technical framework needed to enable the operation of drones under a declarative framework. This guidance covers organisational aspects, flight manual, structures and configuration control, with particular attention for management of design changes.
