"On July 30-31, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMA) brought together representatives from 68 priority municipalities in the Amazon to present monitoring systems for deforestation and degradation. The event aimed to strengthen the capacity of these municipalities to implement sustainable development and combat deforestation." "Representatives attended a technical training and immersion in satellite monitoring systems developed by INPE and IBAMA, aiming to empower municipalities with data essential for territorial management."
