"On 05/08/2025, the Fair Work Ombudsman issued an update regarding Melbourne adult retail store penalised. The operators of La La Land in Brunswick were ordered to pay $22,536 in penalties for breaching the Fair Work Act by failing to comply with a Compliance Notice. This included calculating and rectifying underpayments, plus superannuation, owed to a young worker who was employed on a casual basis between September 2022 and April 2023."
