Justice Department and FTC to Host Listening Sessions on Lowering Americans’ Drug Prices Through Competition

On June 30, July 24, and August 4, the Justice Department's Antitrust Division, FTC, Commerce, and Health and Human Services will host listening sessions to discuss ways to make prescription drugs more affordable by promoting competition. The sessions will focus on increasing generic and biosimilar availability, promoting competition through drug formularies and benefits, and eliminating regulatory barriers and anticompetitive practices.
