On May 6, the European Data Protection Board issued an update regarding "European Patent Organisation and extension of adequacy decisions for the UK: EDPB adopts opinions". The Board adopted an opinion on the European Commission's draft adequacy decision concerning the European Patent Organisation (EPO) and a six-month extension of the UK adequacy decisions under the GDPR. Additionally, they agreed to grant observer status to the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
