Brief

On April 11, two geological wonders from China were designated UNESCO Global Geoparks. Kanbula in northwest Qinghai Province and Yunyang in southwest Chongqing Municipality exemplify China's commitment to harmonizing geological conservation with cultural and ecological sustainability. These designations bring China's total UNESCO-recognized geoparks to 49, surpassing any other country worldwide.
