"On June 18, China notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of its expanded zero-tariff policy for least developed countries (LDCs). The new policy took effect on December 1, 2024, raising product coverage from 98 percent to 100 percent and is part of China's efforts to further open up to LDCs and African nations."
