"On 17/05/2025, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issued an update regarding ED, Jalandhar has provisionally attached immovable property worth Rs. 1.29 Crore belonging to Ashish Kapoor, the then AIG Punjab Police under the PMLA, 2002 in connection with money laundering investigation related to extortion and bribery. The investigation was initiated based on two FIRs registered by the Punjab Police against Ashish Kapoor and others, revealing proceeds of crime (PoC) worth Rs. 1.29 Crore."
