"On June 22, 2024, the Government of Canada created the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) to support low-income persons with disabilities. The CDB is administered by Service Canada and provides a maximum of $200 per month, for a total of $2,400 per year, to eligible individuals between the ages of 18 and 64. This benefit aims to increase the financial well-being of over 600,000 low-income persons with disabilities."
