"On 19/05/2025, the Special Investigating Unit issued an update regarding SIU authorised to investigate alleged maladministration in State Information Technology Agency and Bushbuckridge Local Municipality. President Cyril Ramaphosa signed Proclamations 258 and 259 of 2025 authorising the SIU to investigate allegations of maladministration and corruption at SITA and the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality, respectively."
