Justice Department Requires Keysight to Divest Assets to Proceed with Spirent Acquisition

"On February 6, 2025, the US Department of Justice (Antitrust Division) issued an update regarding "Justice Department Requires Keysight to Divest Assets to Proceed with Spirent Acquisition". The Antitrust Division filed a civil antitrust lawsuit and proposed settlement requiring Keysight to divest Spirent's high-speed ethernet testing, network security testing, and RF channel emulation businesses to Viavi, resolving competitive concerns arising from their proposed $1.5 billion merger. This will preserve competition in key testing equipment markets."
