Brief

"On 10 December 2024, primary legislation implementing the Global Anti-Base Erosion Model Rules in Australia received royal assent. The global and domestic minimum tax will comprise a global minimum tax with interlocking Income Inclusion Rule and Undertaxed Profits Rule, applying to fiscal years starting on or after 1 January 2024 and 2025 respectively."
