On 14/03/2025, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) issued an update regarding The SFDA, in collaboration with Municipalities and Commerce Ministries, Intensify Inspections in Mecca and Al Madinah to Ensure Product Safety During Ramadan and in Preparation for Hajj. The campaign has resulted in significant findings, including the seizure of 1,226 tons of non-compliant products, inspections of 1,891 facilities, and detection of over 636 violations across various warehouses, factories, and sales centers.
