On 20 March, 2025, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) charged a 57-year-old Bargara man under Operation Harrakis for allegedly smuggling an accused from Operation Ironside. The AFP alleged that the man and another crewed a vessel that collected the fugitive at sea before sailing to Phuket, Thailand, where they arrived on 2 November, 2023.
