Government of Canada signs bilateral agreement with Nunavut for Drugs for Rare Diseases

On March 13, 2025, the Health Canada issued an update regarding "Government of Canada signs bilateral agreement with Nunavut for Drugs for Rare Diseases". The agreement aims to improve access and affordability of drugs for rare diseases in Canada by investing over $7.3 million over three years. This funding will support enhanced access to selected new drugs, existing drugs, early diagnosis, and screening for patients living with rare diseases across the country.
