On 19/03/2025, the National Crime Agency issued an update regarding Man charged in NCA investigation after £1m seized by Border Force at Heathrow Airport. Mazen Al Shaar, a 48-year-old man from Hayes, Middlesex, was charged with money laundering after £1 million was seized from him by Border Force officers at Heathrow Airport on Saturday. He was remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on April 17 for a pre-trial plea hearing.
