Brief

The Competition Commission of India investigated allegations of bid rigging by Aegis Logistics Limited, Indus Petro Chem Limited, and Sea Lord Containers Limited. The Informant alleged that the companies belonged to the same group and had collusively participated in a tender for land allotment at New Mangalore Port. The Commission examined the material available, submissions from the port authority, and information in the public domain but did not find evidence of bid rigging. It closed the matter under Section 26(2) of the Act due to lack of sufficient evidence.
