On Monday, 24 February, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs announced an increase in Higher Level Stewardship payment rates to support farmers delivering environmental outcomes. The updated scheme will also see a re-opening of the ELM Capital Grants worth £45 million in 2025/26, with £110 million invested in equipment and technology grants to boost productivity and protect the environment.
