On 23/02/2025, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) issued an update regarding Payday Super consultation continues. The ATO has been engaging with industry stakeholders on the government's Payday Super reform to begin from 1 July 2026, and key topics discussed include re-designing the super guarantee charge, revising SuperStream data standards, and introducing additional penalties for failure to pay a SG charge debt raised by the ATO.
