Brief

"On 18/02/2025", the "European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF)" issued an update regarding "OLAF completes investigation into suspected serious irregularities in EU-funded procurement of power generators for Ukraine". OLAF recommended the financial recovery of over EUR 91 million intended for power generator purchases, citing overpricing, lack of competition, and undue advantages to contractors. This follows a June 2024 investigation into breaches of procurement rules and transparency by Poland's Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS).
