CADE condemns entities and individuals in the gym sector for anti-competitive practices

On February 12, 2025, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) condemned entities and individuals in the gym sector for anti-competitive practices. The investigation found that Sindacad/RJ and Sinpef/RJ included anticompetitive clauses in a collective work agreement, limiting competition and harming consumers. As a result, CADE imposed fines totaling over R$ 300,000 on these entities and individuals involved.
