Cutting pollution and building a strong economy for the future: Canada’s 2035 commitment under the Paris Agreement

On February 12, 2025, the Environment and Climate Change Canada issued an update regarding Cutting pollution and building a strong economy for the future: Canada’s 2035 commitment under the Paris Agreement. The Government of Canada submitted its 2035 nationally determined contribution (NDC) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, aiming to cut emissions up to half below 2005 levels by 2035.
