"On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued an update regarding Single dose of broadly neutralizing antibody protects macaques from H5N1 influenza. The study found that a single dose of the broadly neutralizing antibody MEDI8852 administered prior to virus exposure protected macaques from severe H5N1 avian influenza, with all pre-treated animals surviving and experiencing no or limited signs of disease."
