Last year, the State Administration for Market Regulation unconditionally approved more than 600 cases of operator concentration

On 02/20/2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) reported an update on last year's market supervision, noting that a total of 643 cases of enterprise concentration were concluded. The majority, 558 cases or approximately 90%, were decided at the initial review stage without further examination, and 427 cases with transaction amounts exceeding ¥1 billion accounted for about 69% of all concluded cases.
