Barra do Garças/MT. A Polícia Federal deflagrou, na manhã desta quarta-feira (29/1), a segunda fase da Operação Sangradouro, que visa reprimir crimes de corrupção passiva e ativa, advocacia administrativa e divulgação de informações sigilosas ou reservadas.
Foram cumpridos 15 mandados de busca e apreensão, nas cidades de Barra do Garças, Pontal do Araguaia/MT, General Carneiro/MT, Aragarças/GO, Piranhas/GO e Brasília/DF com os objetivos de colher provas, apreender instrumentos utilizados na prática de crime, dentre outros. Além disso, foi determinado o afastamento do servidor público das suas funções na Funai e impostas medidas cautelares diversas da prisão.
As investigações apuraram a solicitação e o recebimento por parte de servidor da Funai em Barra do Garças de vantagens indevidas para praticar atos em quanto servidor público e para fornecer documentos de indígenas aptos para benefícios previdenciários.
Também foi apurado o oferecimento e promessa por parte de advogados e “despachantes” de vantagem indevida ao funcionário público para que ele enviasse documentos de indígenas aptos para benefícios previdenciários ou para agilizar procedimentos funcionais.
